'Song Pods' With Musical Cremated Remains Inside
We're guessing that you didn't know cremated remains could be musical instruments, or rather be safely bound inside an egg-like vessel that, when shaken, makes music! These hand-held, self-playing SongPods™ are wonderfully soothing. You send the company's owner a pinch of cremated pet or human remains and she carefully seals them in the pod to make a wind-chiming household object you'll treasure forever. Amy Lee Talon writes "SongPods have a serene echoing ring and lingering vibration that soothes the spirit." Turning them over, near your ears, SongPods sing like a tinkling wind chime in a private breeze. Clacking them together, or on any hard surface, and another ‘voice’ is heard as they sing aloud in echoing antiquity. Unbreakable – their music transcends all time and endures all adventures.
SongPods™ are used in health care facilities, for autistic children, older adults and in numerous therapy modalities. They are also used by massage therapists and Reiki practitioners.
To the delight of their inventor, SongPods are “serving in ways I never dreamed, touching lives I’ve never known and traversing lands I’ll never see…how blessed I am to have been entrusted with their launch into this tangible world!”
The International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers honored SongPods when several years ago they sought permission to offer them on their Sacred Pilgrimages, as Gifts to pay tribute to those leaders they encounter and as a means to support their travel.
A percentage from each sale benefits both Native and Nature Projects. Write Amy Lee Talon@tusco.net for more details. The pods cost $200 a pair.
